WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Working together, we’ll follow a process in order to meet your goals with thoughtfulness, clarity and efficiency:
STEP ONE: INTRODUCTION
We’ll start by having a conversation about the work—what you’re looking for, what the desired outcomes are, the technical elements such as budget and timeline, and how I can help. Establishing the goals and parameters of the project will help to ensure I’m able to take on the project, that we’re a good fit, and that we’re on the same page from the beginning.
STEP TWO: THE PLAN
Once we’re ready to move forward, I’ll ask for more details about your brand, your business, your target audience, your content, your goals. All of this will provide greater insight into the message you’re looking to communicate, the audience you want to reach and the specifics of the problem you need to solve. Based on the information you’ve provided to date, I’ll write up a project proposal that outlines the project scope, covering deliverables, the cost and timeline estimates and any other pertinent information. Once you’ve read through this we’ll chat about it so you can ask questions and we can make any required revisions/clarifications.
STEP THREE: THE AGREEMENT
Once the proposal is agreed upon, I’ll email you the final copy along with a Letter of Agreement. Once this has been signed and returned to me, the design work get started.
STEP FOUR: THE WORK
Design strategy varies based on the creative requirements of each project, but it always begins with developing a solid foundation. This is made possible through the preliminary work, which includes research, brand analysis and establishing a visual direction. Once a strategy is in place I’ll further develop the design, starting with rough sketches and building up to more refined, digitized creative concept work. We’ll then collaborate to revise the final concept, and when everything has been finalized and approved, I’ll send you all the files and information required to ensure accurate, quality production of the design work. I’m also happy to communicate with your printer, developer or other creatives to ensure your project launches successfully and remains true to your brand well into the future.
